Tahoe Regional ProLife Youth Oratory Contest

The National Right to Life Oratory Contest strives to promote the ability of High School Juniors and Seniors to share their prolife views with others. Although speaking ability is important, this contest especially seeks to help our teens organize and express their ProLife beliefs. The competition also offers contestants an opportunity to meet other ProLife teens. To build on this, our Regional Contest is open to both Middle School and High School Students.
Students are to speak on any ProLife topic (e.g. abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, stem cell research) at this regional contest. The CA HS Jr./Sr. winner will compete at the CA State Capitol in the California State Finals on Sat, April 28th, 10 a.m. The state winner will compete for larger cash prizes at the National Right to Life Committee Convention.
1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50
4th Place - $25
High School Jrs & Srs speak for 5 - 7 minutes - prizes as noted!
Fresh/Soph students speak for 3-6 minutes, prizes TBD
